Our KwaZulu-Natal Disaster Recovery site is located in North Point Office Park, Ballito, with dedicated fibre connectivity to the Teraco Data Centre in Durban. This provides reliable connectivity between infrastructure hosted within Teraco and the DR site, supporting the efficient transfer of data and recovery of critical business operations during a disruption.
The facility can accommodate up to 100 syndicated users and is supported by 24-hour on-site security. The site has been designed with power resilience in mind, utilising solar energy as the primary power source, battery storage as backup, and municipal grid electricity as an additional power supply.
This combination of resilient connectivity, power redundancy and equipped recovery workspace provides clients with a secure and dependable location from which to continue critical operations during a business disruption.
Our Western Cape Disaster Recovery site is located in Bellville, Cape Town, with dedicated fibre connectivity to the Teraco Data Centre in Cape Town. This provides reliable connectivity between infrastructure hosted within Teraco and the DR site, supporting the efficient transfer of data and recovery of critical business operations during a disruption.
The facility can accommodate up to 500 users and is supported by 24-hour on-site security. The site has been designed with a strong focus on infrastructure resilience, incorporating dual UPS systems, generator backup, 25,000 litres of backup water storage, an air-to-water generation system, and two independent network ingress points.
The facility also includes a secure, Tier III-aligned data centre, providing colocation services, Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS), and Backup as a Service (BaaS).
Together, the site’s extensive recovery workspace, resilient power and connectivity infrastructure, and on-site data centre capabilities provide clients with a comprehensive environment from which to maintain and recover critical business operations.
Our Gauteng Disaster Recovery capability is delivered across two strategically located facilities in Midrand and Randburg, both with fibre connectivity to the Teraco Data Centre in Johannesburg. This provides reliable connectivity between infrastructure hosted within Teraco and the DR sites, supporting the efficient transfer of data and recovery of critical business operations during a disruption.
Each facility can accommodate up to 500 users, providing a combined recovery capacity of up to 1,000 seats across Gauteng. Both sites are supported by 24-hour on-site security and have been designed with a strong focus on infrastructure resilience.
The facilities incorporate dual UPS systems, dual backup generators, backup water and diesel supplies, solar power, and two independent network ingress points, providing multiple layers of redundancy for critical services.
Both locations also include secure, Tier III-aligned data centre facilities, providing colocation services, Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS), and Backup as a Service (BaaS).
